Senior – WordPress Engineer

With offices in New York, Singapore and Colombo, the company is rapidly expanding and looking to grow our UI/UX team in Colombo. We are looking for a talented Senior WordPress Engineer who will be responsible for converting designs into responsive, W3C validated websites on WordPress.
Duties and Tasks:
- Work within the UI/UX team to convert designs, utilizing WordPress, PHP, CSS and JavaScript / JQuery
- Write clean, structured and well-documented code
- Develop websites with W3C validated code
- Conscious of Google Page Speed scores and optimization efforts
- Good knowledge in version control (GIT)
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years in custom WordPress Theme development
- Expert in CSS / SCSS/ SASS and JQuery / JavaScript to build beautiful, animated websites
- Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5
- Expertise in custom WooCommerce theme and plugin development
- Knowledge of onsite SEO is an added advantage
- Knowledge of three.js will be an added advantage
- Great attention to detail and highly organized
