Junior Designer (Branding)

Brief description

We are in pursuit of an enthusiastic Junior Designer with a growing talent for branding and an eye for detail. This role is designed for someone who is eager to learn and contribute to the branding process while working alongside industry veterans. Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of creative branding solutions under the guidance of senior design staff.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas that align with client brand strategy.
  • Support the design and production of brand assets, including logos, typography, color palettes, and style guides.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral, digital assets, and presentations that adhere to brand standards.
  • Learn and apply design best practices in branding, typography, and digital/print mediums.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency in designs across various client projects.
  • Take on design tasks from concept through to completion, ensuring all work is of the highest standard.
  • Engage with the latest design trends and bring fresh ideas to the table that can elevate our creative offerings.
  • Manage and organize project files, resources, and documentation.
  • Provide support to the creative team as needed in all aspects of the branding process, including research, ideation, and client communications.

Minimum requirement

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a graphic design role, preferably with a focus on branding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.(Not compulsory but ideal)
  • Proficiency with design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Profficiency in using generative AI tools, motion graphics/animation and 3D design tools will be an added advantage.\
  • A growing portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for visual design, particularly in branding and corporate identity.
  • Understanding of brand storytelling and how to translate a brand’s essence into visual design.
  • Strong conceptual skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to receive and act on feedback to improve designs and adapt to clients’ needs.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive and eager attitude towards learning and personal development within the branding and design industry.
