Hand-drawn Illustrations
Resplendent Ceylon, the only Relais & Châteaux hospitality brand in Sri Lanka wanted to design a coffee table book which commemorates the historic bungalows in their Ceylon Tea Trails Resort and the illustrious legacy of the planters who are responsible for the scenic tea plantations around the resort.
We started off the design phase by putting together a mood board with possible visual style and aesthetics. After that, we chose the minimal design aesthetic to present the information in a clear, concise way as well as to portray the brand values. We added the exclusivity by including custom illustrations that are done in-house which will increase the collectable value of the final book.
